The gallery is pleased to invite you to a Talk between Armand Camphuis and Victor Garel on Saturday, 11 July at 4 p.m., on the occasion of Victor Garel's first solo exhibition, Fatrasie.
Born in Dijon in 1999, Armand Camphuis lives and works in Paris. Since 2023, he has pursued a critical practice that regularly explores the intersections of the sacred, the uncanny, and technology in the modern world. A regular contributor to Refresh magazine, he is also an independent curator. His texts have accompanied exhibitions at Galerie Almine Rech in 2025 and at Hélène Bailly Marcilhac in 2024.
“Victor Garel is almost entirely self-taught as a painter. After several years of fruitful wandering, he went on to study art history at university. He had always drawn. He later moved to Scotland to further his practice through a Master's degree at the Glasgow School of Art.”
