The volumes of the Paul Rosenberg Collection: The Paris Years were produced in conjunction with the exhibition *Paul Rosenberg, Art Dealer and Victim of Looting During the Occupation*, held at the Centre Pompidou from May 22 to September 2, 2019.
In them, Raphaël Denis compiles an inventory of all the paintings that belonged to Paul Rosenberg until his departure from France in 1940. The volumes consist of photographs of the works where available, and a blank page listing the inventory number, the artist’s name, the dimensions, and the title of the work when no reproduction exists. The fifth volume includes images of the inventory notebooks for Paul Rosenberg’s works. These notebooks are now held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
